You Have the Right to Remain Silent. is the only studio album by the band X-Cops. It was released in 1995. The photos on the inside of the CD booklet depict a murder crime scene being investigated by the X-Cops. On the wall in the victim's room is a poster of Gwar, the X-Cops' at the time secret identity. The poster features the cover of Scumdogs of the Universe. The victim is also wearing GWAR shorts, which the band sold at concerts and through the back pages of their comic books in the 90s. Update Required To play the media you will need to either update your browser to a recent version or update your Flash plugin. The catchy guitar riffs, raspy yelling from the vocals and deep drum sounds are reminiscent of GWARs style. Apart from hacking those out, the different skits in between or before songs are amusing and X-Cops do an amazing job at being offensive. The album starts off with a skit for the first half of the song entitled Interloper. X-Cops enjoy putting their listener into the songs by talking to the listener personally. Lyrics like Out in the woods youre handcuffed to a tree. The end of my gun is the last thing youll see allow the listener to take part in X-Cops morbid humor and hopefully enjoy it. But if you fuck around Then you'll be goin down We'll beat you to your knees You are the enemy Because we wear a shield We have the right to kill And if the guiltless die We turn a blind eye. We turn a blind eye We turn a blind eye We turn a blind eye. Blind Eye. Mamma's little Baby got busted, busted Mamma's little Baby's goin down down down down. Down to the cell where Bubba crowns you queen Where the floors are cold and the bunk's unclean And the soft bellied white boy gets fucked 'til he screams.
