The album includes various artists performing at the Family Values Tour in 2001, such as Linkin Park, Staind, Deadsy, Stone Temple Pilots, Static-X, and Staind frontman Aaron Lewis. The hit song Wonderful, the only single from the album, is performed live during the Family Values 2001 Tour by American rock band Stone Temple Pilots. Family Values Tour 2001. Family Values Tour 2001 was recorded live at assorted dates on the annual alt-metal tour. While it's heavy on the workmanlike rock of Stone Temple Pilots, the album does include some other strong performances. While the histrionic, flash-in-the-pan industrial outfit Static-X overstays their welcome with two songs, a cover of Rush's Tom Sawyer by the delightfully campy Deadsy churns with furious drum fills and a spot-on bass solo. FVT 2001 lined up 3 of my fav bands - Stone Temple Pilots, Linkin Park and Staind - one big stinker that i never liked - Static X - and the newcomers from Deadsy. There are 2 bad things about this CD: the fiasco called Push it, from Static X, and the fact that it's too short. The rest is amazing. Great work guys. Staind - another band that sings live absolutely awesome. You already know Fade and It's Been Awhile. but the biggest surprise of this album is Black, a Pearl Jam song, performed live on acoustic guitar by Aaron Lewis. It touches you. Best song of the album, no doubt. Aaron sings with so much passion and angst - really close to perfection. Deadsy album. Deadsy Forever. Deadsy Legions. 5 November 2018 .
