Declassified Grooves. Black Heat Format: Audio CD. Another very good album by Black Heat, although I think their other album, No Time to Burn is stronger, and a bit funkier. To my ears, the sound on this album is not so much War or Mandrill, but easing more into more mainstream soul territory, along the lines of the Main Ingredient or Earth, Wind & Fire. Their albums include Black Heat with guest. This is my favourite track from the album. It's very simple but I just love the riff, and a good riff always does the trick as far as I'm of Black Heat.
